Casa de amor is a home that serves and protects children and adolescents who have been abandoned or abused by their families in their homes. We provide comprehensive protection by offering housing, food, clothing, health, education, recreation, and spiritual guidance to all our boys and girls. Our greatest interest is to protect and heal the wounds of children to form good people who love God and are useful to our society.

With long history in the Church of God, we are a family who share the love of working for those most in need, and it is a blessing to be able to serve children who are an essential part of the Kingdom. At a crisis point for the home, the Lord gave us the opportunity to assume leadership and continue the work of the Church of God in El Salvador. My daughter, Ashley, and I have been a team on every adventure, and my sister Yenifer and her husband are always supportive as teachers in the children’s academic education.

Knowing that we can make a difference for these children is very satisfying. In 2015, we welcomed the Flores brothers, ages 6 and 7. Their parents were an alcoholic man and a mentally handicapped mother. They were children with no future and in a lot of pain. Both little ones adapted quickly and stood out in their behavior, attitudes, and skills. Today, at 16 and 15 years old, we are very happy to report that God opened doors for them to be adopted and move to the United States to enjoy a full and happy life.

Currently, we are in the process of constructing Love House which will allows us to serve more boys and girls in need. We have managed to reach 70% of the goal but are still short. Once completed, the new building will not only allow us to have better conditions for the children but will also contribute to reducing rent and other expenses.
