Joe and Judy Mercer

We serve as founder of South American Call, Inc., a non-profit organization which carryies the gospel to the last, the least, and the lost in villages along the Amazon River. We take teams of ministers and teachers to Peru at least three times each year to conduct campmeetings, hosting as many as seven services per day. We have witnessed thousands come to know Jesus Christ! We also minister by establishing house churches with approximately fifty currently already in place.

Our ministry includes reaching the children in the slums of Chimbote just north of Lima. We have four feeding centers to feed 120 children. They are taught about Jesus while receiving nutritious food. We have recently opened a feeding center in Costa Rica.

Our most memorable moment as missionaries would be a kids crusade with 11,000 children in attendance. Our team taught them the story of Jesus, and many accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It doesn’t get any better than that!
