NAVIGATE:  “We will navigate the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of people who have gathered in the world class cities so Truth can be illuminated for them.”

Navigation is in itself a process. It is fundamentally the act of monitoring and supervising ones situation and the insuring of stability not only in that situation but also the future. The important aspects of navigation encompasses three things; First of all, the determination of position. Secondly, the establishment of an appropriate direction. Then thirdly, the fashioning of a strategy that provides stability and produces long term results.

Navigation begins with the ascertaining of position. You must know who you are and where you are. The inherent position of World Missions is to press into unfamiliar or untouched territory. When charting unfamiliar territory, orientation is crucial. To establish orientation you must plant check points. In our field of work, check points would be our local churches, training institutions and care centers. After the ascertaining of position, navigation requires direction. An appropriate course must be determined. Knowing who we are and where we are is one thing. Knowing where we are going is another. Thirdly, after determining direction, decisions must be made that will produce long term stability. Sustainable development is the organizing principle for meeting both spiritual and human development needs. The interconnected fields endurance of systems and process is essential in sustainable development and must include the domains of biblical studies and prayer, venues which reach out to the emotional needs of the culture and the providing of proper nutrition and clothing for the health and wellbeing of those in need.

The long arms of World Missions is now reaching around the globe planting new field works, seeking out unreached people groups, building ministry training centers, and developing varied curriculum in ministry studies for the purpose of enriching both the minister, teacher and student. Care centers are ongoing on every continent, staffed by spirit filled councilors and medical teams who have been skillfully trained in emotional recovery and well being. Hundreds of Church of God care centers are scattered across our world targeting the broken, hurting, hungry and displaced. Our position has been ascertained and check points well established. Our vision, purpose and direction is constantly being revisited and updated to insure that the FINISH Commitment mandate objectives are being fulfilled. Even though we seek to provide excellence in every way, our intentions are not just for today but we work with future generations in mind. Present stability is important, but a sustainable prosperous future is imperative. Through your prayers and faithful support World Missions will continue to navigate through process the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of people who have gathered in the world class cities so Truth can be illuminated for them.
