Associate Missionaries Larry and Manoli Clay serve as church planters who are heavily involved in door-to-door evangelism, street witnessing, literature distribution, and evangelistic open-air book tables.

Larry and Manoli ClayLarry grew up on a farm in Iowa, and was reared in the United Methodist Church. At the age of 11, he accepted Jesus as his Savior due partly to the testimony of his Sunday school teacher and partly because of a powerful dream he had. After reading books on the Holy Spirit baptism, on his 14th birthday and alone in his room, Larry was baptized in the Holy Spirit. He later became an ordained minister with the Church of God.

Larry’s call to missions came while attending Bethany College of Missions in Minneapolis where his eyes were opened to the Great Commission. Graduating in 1984 with a Bachelors in Missions, God laid Spain upon his heart. Larry graduated from East Coast Bible College in Charlotte, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Education. He served in Mexico City on a five-month internship, several months in Puerto Rico, and two years in the Dominican Republic where he planted a Church of God in the interior. In 1989, Larry was appointed as missionary to Spain.

In 2001, Larry married Manoli, who is from Spain and is active in music ministry, especially praise and worship. They presently serve as pastor of the Salt, Spain Church of God.

Larry stated in one of his sermons: “World evangelization is the number one priority of the church! God’s Word tells us Christ’s purpose in coming was to save that which was lost. As the body of Christ, we are His hands and feet. All have a vital role in God’s complete plan to accomplish His will. God wants to involve everyone in what He is going to accomplish. He has given us the necessary equipment to FINISH the task … Acts 1:8: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto the uttermost part of the earth.” The baptism with the Holy Spirit is given for the express purpose of accomplishing God’s work in the earth!
