Jerry and Ulli Lillard, overseer of the Czech Republic, finally received an approved building inspection for the new church in Prague which has been in process the past couple of years. This building project was supported by the Send the Light to the Cities emphasis. To World Missions Director Dr. David Griffis, cities such as Prague present a prime opportunity to reach hurting people, due to the diverse population drawn to these areas by social and economic opportunity.

Services are being held regularly in Life Center, and the annual English camp was a huge success. On the closing night, over 200 people were in attendance—the largest day camp to date—43 kids, 31 teenagers, and 20-plus workers. Those who sponsored children made it possible for many to be added who would not otherwise been able to come. A highlight was a visit to a local police station, teaching the children to respect and honor the police force. The children had to practice the tasks of courage, honor, and respect, and the excited policemen gave the kids a tour of the station and a police car. Many kids heard the Good News of Jesus at the camp and prayed for the first time in their lives.

Quite a few things are yet needed to complete this project, such as providing nice furnishings and landscaping.

Many events are planned for the fall, and a Church Planting Move conference has been conducted in the community center this month. At the Open House recently, refreshments were served, and people could tour the facility. Already new people are coming to the church who live in the community.

God just keeps moving the Lilliards and the Life Center Church ahead with new things.
