In completing the FINISH strategy of the Great Commission, efforts are not always easily or quickly accomplished—unusual patience is often a requirement. What has seemed like a long time, the wheels are turning more swiftly now in Prague. God’s timing is not usually our timing, but His timing is always perfect.
The church facility and HUB ministry training center building was purchased and preparatory remodeling was done by church members. All that was left to do was obtain the final construction permit and God granted that step in the process recently as permission has been given to use the building. After two years of fighting for the permits and renovation delays, and waiting on the final building inspection, the last paper was signed! The congregation has moved into its new facility.
The city of Prague is the largest in the country with a population of 1.3 million—a population that is one of the least religious in the world. The Church of God is about to change all that!
Located in the heart of Section 9 of Prague, it is the only Pentecostal church in the area. National Overseer Jerry Lillard and his wife, Ulli, have poured themselves into this ministry for more than 20 years. Pray for God to anoint the leadership in Prague and cause an increase in the harvest of souls and disciples.
World Missions Director Dr. David M. Griffis and Assistant Director Dr. M. Thomas Propes recognize with gratitude the hand of blessing God has placed upon this project and acknowledge a great stride has been made in the Send the Light to the Cities emphasis!
