The Send The Light To The Cities Manila, Philippines, project of Church of God World Missions recently opened its new office and training center for the Marriott Manila Church of God.
The HUB facilitates the work to rapidly increase the pace of planning, training, and birthing other churches in the expansive metropolis. Manila’s population is at 12 million, but the urban area has a population at 21.3 million.
The SL2C project, along with those whom God called to partner with Manila, made it possible for the church to own the property in the city … where real estate is astronomical to purchase.
The young pastor with a vision and a heart to reach the lost of his homeland, A.J. Velasco, speaks of the HUB:
“The need is great in Manila. Urban areas, packed with people, are grounds that will either find God because ministry, training, and prayer was given, or will sink to the lowest level of darkness. Your continued partnership and faithfulness is necessary to carry the torch of the Gospel to the people of the city. This young congregation has the energy, the enthusiasm, and the vision to start a wave of revival that will expose darkness and make Manila a place of the Light. Because of you, a lighthouse is raised and soon to be paid for in full. Because of you, the message of Hope is coming to Manila. The power of God is producing sons and daughters for God’s Kingdom. Because of you, the SL2C Manila project is open, operational, and soon to be debt-free!”
