One of World Missions premiere missionaries, Arlene Miller passed away, August 8, 2019, in her native State of Ohio. She served under World Missions appointment from 1976 until 2013 when health issues forced her to retire.

When Arlene was 12 years old, she was called to the missions field. In 1973, she joined Margaret Gaines on the West Bank in Israel. Arlene served there in the Arab village of Aboud for 20 years working in the school and all departments of the church. Later, she completed classes in Muslim studies, eventually going to South America to train missionaries in how to minister to Muslims. Many North American churches will remember Arlene for her work in conducting missions conferences.

If you would like to honor her life by giving a donation to the Aboud School fund, please use Project #040-0003 (www.cogwm.org/give).

Arlene was a faithful and diligent missionary whose life evidenced a love for lost souls. To those closest to her, her life has left a lasting legacy and she will be greatly missed.
