Frankie was born in Ocilla, GA, grew up in Tallahassee, FL and attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN where he met his wife, Joyce, also a Lee University student. Joyce was born and raised in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, to career missionary parents. They were married in 1977.

Frankie and Joyce served as youth pastor, then associate pastor, and finally as pastor with the Church of God in Georgia. In 1988 Frankie and Joyce accepted the call to full-time missionary work to Guatemala where they served for 10 years before returning to full-time pastoral ministry in Georgia and also in North Carolina.

During this stateside tenure of ministry Frankie attended the Church of God Theological Seminary and Joyce completed her B.A. degree from Lee University, followed with five years of teaching high school Spanish as well as English as a Second Language.

Frankie and Joyce are very excited about the opportunity to once again return with Church of God World Missions to serve in Guatemala in the area of discipleship and providing help to impoverished God-called pastors.
