Jack and Mary-Margaret (Holdman) Morris are experienced missionaries, having served in Kenya, East Africa from 1982-1990 and in Botswana in Southern Africa from 1996-2000.

Previously they served in Germany and Turkey under Church of God Ministry to the Military. They were appointed as missionaries to Australia in 2001.

The Morrises hail from a great ministry heritage and have served in ministry themselves for 35 years. Jack’s father was a Pentecostal Holiness minister, and Mary-Margaret’s father was a Church of God minister. Her maternal grandfather, John O. Yates, was a pioneer minister for the Church of God in Illinois.

Jack and Mary-Margaret met in September 1966 at Berchtesgaden, Germany while attending a servicemen’s retreat. At that time he was with the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Karamursel, Turkey, and Mary-Margaret was secretary to the Church of God European servicemen’s representative in Kaiserslautern. In 1970 they went back to Germany as pastors of the Christian Servicemen’s Center in Kaiserslautern. In 1972 they started a Christian service-men’s center in Adana, Turkey. After Jack completed his undergraduate degree at Northwest Bible College in Minot, North Dakota in 1977, the Morrises served as pastor in Aberdeen, South Dakota (1977-79) and in Great Falls, Montana (1979-1982).
