An earthquake shook the grounds of Haiti in 2010. Many children were left as orphans and homeless. With a piece of donated land in Camp Louise (northern Haiti), Silver Spring Church of God members Joseph and Joseline Pierre created Little Angels of the Broken Wings.
Children who tasted devastation are given shelter, food, medical care, and opportunities to play sports, learn to farm, and education about the Bible. The facility has a farm that produces sweet potatoes, plantains, and other crops. Currently, 12 boys and 12 girls are under the care of Little Angels of the Broken Wings.
The ministry is now in need of funding to complete their dormitory and medical clinic. Living quarters are becoming very cramped for the young children living in the facility. The new dormitory would greatly relieve this and help continue to provide a home for the children of Camp Louise.
