Tom and Margaret Tioaquen
Asia/PacificEarly in our marriage we gave ourselves to the ministry during a chapel service at Lee College. Dr. Ray Hughes gave the invitation, and we “sold out” to the ministry. We served as pastors in Maui, Hawaii, Halawa Church of God in Honolulu, prior to returning to Mt. Olive Church of God in Tennessee. Their ministry took us back to Hawaii serving in Hilo on the Big Island.
In 2001, we served at the Clarkview Christian Center in Angeles City, Philippine Islands. Following a tenure of three years, we began working with local pastors and congregations in the Philippines. We also worked with International Agape Ministries offering mentoring and services to laymen and pastors. We also provided guidance to ministry organizations who share Jesus in prisons and provide humanitarian medical resources and relief.
In 2008, through Fresh Hope Refuge Shelter, we started taking in abandoned children. Some of our children have been reunited with their families. The remaining children are evangelists for Christ!
