World Missions began a partnership with the Bread of Life Orphanage in Romania during the tenure of a former World Missions field director. The association has continued for many years.
BoL considers it a privilege and obligation to help the orphans, widows, the unborn, the homeless children, and needy families. Over the years, the orphanage leadership has begun many projects throughout Romania. Some have been temporary projects to help victims of floods, massive blizzards, or economic problems affecting the stability of impoverished families. Feeding Center programs have outreaches in 51 locations to feed poor children every day. This program also includes the leper village.
An ongoing project of the orphanage is the Ark Project; the facility roof is in serious need of renovation … it is a pressing situation. Recent rains have caused leaks that need immediate attention.
The three-story building in Brosteni was purchased in 2001 and after refurbishment, the orphanage opened in 2003. For the past nine years, the BOL Orphanage has been the shelter and home for over 200 children. They also receive Christian guidance to prepare them for a secure future.
Your partnership is important to them!
