Those born in Tanzania are prone to unimaginable risks: they are often the subject of superstitious ritual, abandonment, or even just thrown away in the trash. On top of these risks, many children are also affected by HIV/AIDS and are left as orphans.
Shalom Orphanage exists as a place of hope and refuge in the midst of this harsh environment. The children at Shalom are given two house parents to live with on the compound. Each couple cares for 8-10 children.
The children are shown love, medical care, and the Gospel. Every night, they worship together after their meal. Some of the children go to a private mission school or local school.
Help continue to reach the children of Tanzania by donating to Shalom Orphanage.
