The students of the Impact Warriors Youth Mentoring program associated with Indian Ministries of North America and directed by Johnny Hughes, actively let their lights shine.

Students from a church in the Tucker Community of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians completed several light kits this past summer. The lights are sent to homes in the Navajo Nation, as well as to pastors in the jungle mountains of Peru.

The light kits project by the youth has become an important blessing to many people throughout the world. Not only does it supply safe, clean light for homes and school studies, it also gives an opportunity to share the story of the Light of the World—Jesus Christ.

IMNA was honored to deliver solar lights to several Navajo families who did not have electricity in their homes. The lights also were assembled by the Choctaw youth in Mississippi.

Native youth from various communities are affecting the lives of people everywhere … teamwork can make a difference.
